What was I doing?

This was the last position I needed to be in right now.

Horizontal on a bed with Godrick Stoneridge on top of me. He was beautiful. I had never seen a more beautiful man. A feminine man, that was beautiful? Yes. A rugged man, that was so handsome that his darkness was beautiful? No. Never. But that was what Godrick was, a rugged, beautiful man that held himself to a higher standard, that closed himself off from people, but with me, he let me inside.

And what I saw was beautiful.

The way he kissed me was different right now. The office kiss was frantic and needy, and he showed his dominance, but this was different. His lips were languid. Godrick took his time. He didn’t grind his cock against me like I wanted him to.

Oh, I so desperately wanted him to. Ever since he spanked me in the kitchen, I had been an aching mess. “Godrick,” I whimpered into his mouth at the same time his tongue twisted between my lips and stroked the roof of my mouth. God, the man could kiss. Of course he could. How could someone look this good and not know how to kiss? It would be a disservice to women everywhere if he didn’t. Godrick blew my mind just by walking into the room.

“What is it?” he whispered back, the hot air from his lungs touching the back of my throat.

“I want you.”

“Oh, baby. I want you too.”

“Take me.”

He shook his head. “No.”

I pushed against his chest, breaking our kiss. “Why?”

He sighed at the same time he brought his knuckles up to graze my cheek. Godrick’s eyes roamed the expanse of my body—and I had a lot of it. The knuckles continued down my neck and then my breast, teasing my nipples. The small touch made me arch my back into his chest, nearly coming from the barely-there touch.

“Today has been a stressful day for you. If it was any other day, any other circumstance, and you were under me, I’d take you. I’d drive into you without a second thought, but right now, the fear of Brian is on your mind, and when I take you, I want you to be thinking only of me.”

Holy shit, was he saying that he didn’t want to be used? He seemed like the kind of man that wanted to be used. “But I want you, Godrick.”

“I can still make you feel good, Lucy. You want that? You want to feel good?” His hair fell in his face, and I lifted my hand to push it out of the way, only for it to fall back into place.
